Our live guest MV Carbon is an interdisciplinary artist exploring the transformative relationship between sound, space, and place. Her practice investigates how sound and technology can be used to reveal information, shape spatial perception, and generate new aesthetic relationships to space and time. Speculative sound synthesis shapes her process and musical output. Decay and repetition expose the underlying architecture of sound, where the present melds with the future and spatial resonance emerges. Sculptural objects function as musical instruments, amplifying the ritual, rhythm and momentum embedded in music. Analog techniques are combined as Carbon fuses sonic space onto magnetic tape, manipulating frequency in real time.
DJ Bo1led Angel
Boiled Angel is a New York-based D.J who for over a decade has been spinning primarily post-punk and industrial records for concert audiences. Although she has just begun to experiment with playing dark techno, EBM and acid she has already had the privilege to perform in several mainstay clubs and raves throughout NYC. She still maintains her affinity for the underground scene by performing primarily for offbeat parties and concerts in DIY venues all over the world.
